today I learned, there are urgency creator apps available for platforms like shopify, woocommerce.
basically, they are countdown timer, and pop-ups like, John recently bought this an hour ago, these plugins create the sense of urgency in users. so the bounce rate from the product page is reduced and the conversion rate is increased.

Today I learned, there is a document called Manifest, you have to print it out from your shipping partner portal, it is signed by you and the delivery guy when picking up the order for delivery, this manifest is the proof that the order has been picked up and it will be delivering.

Today I learned, Most of the businesses use two major platforms, Shopify Or Woocommerce(WordPress).
I personally have 2 Woocommerce Stores, and I prefer woocommerce over Shopify all the way because of the flexibility & Transparency.

NDR means Non-Delivery Report, It's the section in every shipping service, It contains all the orders which are shipped by you but for some reason is not accepted by the customer or It has a Fake address. The business has to bear the charges of COD, Shipping, Packaging, Etc. To prevent the NDR orders, Businesses call them and ask them to confirm the address. Most of the fake orders are unable to say the correct address they put while ordering because it's fake, then the businesses don't ship those orders and put them in the canceled section.

Today I learned, when a customer opts for Cash On delivery, the whole order amount takes almost 10 days in order to get received by the business. Prepaid orders are always preferred by all businesses for better cashflow,  they increase the number of prepaid orders by charging an unnecessary fee only on COD orders and by giving out 10-15% coupon code that works only with prepaid orders.

Today I learned, In the eCommerce world, there is a term called RTO, which means return to origin. it happens when the customer doesn't accept his package and business has to bear the return fees + COD fees + Shipping fees, the average RTO percentage is 20% with every business. To decrease it, Businesses use address confirmation calls or IVR automated calls after each order placed.
