eCommerce#2
Today I learned, when a customer opts for Cash On delivery, the whole order amount takes almost 10 days in order to get received by the business. Prepaid orders are always preferred by all businesses for better cashflow,  they increase the number of prepaid orders by charging an unnecessary fee only on COD orders and by giving out 10-15% coupon code that works only with prepaid orders.

On the JS course I started, I've learned about prototype pollution and paying attention to third-party that may have vulnerabilities by using not so safe JS idioms.

I started studying this microSaaS guide to use for my 12xstartups. I have a vision of what I want to achieve and I am trying to do my best right now with minimizing risks. Not avoiding them, but I do want to do this market demand/validation step really carefully.

eCommerce#1 (I will keep them posting)
Today I learned, In the eCommerce world, there is a term called RTO, which means return to origin. it happens when the customer doesn't accept his package and business has to bear the return fees + COD fees + Shipping fees, the average RTO percentage is 20% with every business. To decrease it, Businesses use address confirmation calls or IVR automated calls after each order placed.

Continue learning Python, I'm watching Learn Python - Full Course for Beginners [Tutorial] which explains some core concepts.

Today is Sunday so I only watched a small part of it (Functions and Return statements) :)

Learning Python after Ruby is quite nice, the syntax and general logic are pretty similar.
Indentation is very important in Python though as there's no end keyword to end the function.
And Ruby is more laid back in other things and favors omitting braces when not strictly required.

Python:
def say_hi():
  print("hi")

Ruby:
def say_hi
  puts "hi"
end
